Parno Gift was born into a Romani family in the small village of Soulan, France. From a young age, she was treated as an outcast by her community because of her dark skin and curly hair. She was often teased and bullied, and she was not allowed to attend school.

Despite the challenges she faced, Parno Gift never lost her spirit. She was determined to make a better life for herself and her family. When she was 16 years old, she left home and moved to Paris. She worked hard to learn French and to find a job. She eventually found work as a cleaner, and she used her earnings to help support her family.

In 1995, Parno Gift founded the association "La Voix des Rroms" (The Voice of the Roma). The association's mission is to fight against discrimination and to promote the rights of Romani people. Parno Gift has also worked to improve the living conditions of Romani people in France. She has helped to build schools and housing projects, and she has provided financial assistance to Romani families.
