Harry Ruth Howard was born on June 15, 1875, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. From a young age, she exhibited an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a passion for helping others. She established a private practice in Washington, D.C., where she specialized in gynecology and obstetrics.
